Pool Lifeguard Jobs
There are always opportunities for casual and full time employment in swimming pools across the country from age 16, and the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is nationally recognised by most pools as the minimum qualification required.
For young adults gaining the qualification is excellent for university applications or CVs and can lead to part time employment while you complete your studies.
Lifeguards can expect to earn from £5.00-£7.50 per hour depending on the employer. In some cases, extra enhancements will apply for shift and weekend work.

Rate: £6.02 per hour (plus weekend/evening enhancements where applicable)
This is an open advert for casual leisure assistants to work in the swimming pools run by North Tyneside Council.
Applicants must hold a current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A First Aid at Work and ASA Level 1 (Assistant) Teacher certificate are also desirable.
Applicants will be interviewed periodically and will be required to have an Enhanced Criminal records Bureau check before any position can be offered.
